Violette Elizabeth Helland, age 94, of Siren, died October 25, 2007, at Burnett Medical Center in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Violette was born on June 29, 1913, in Daniels Township to Edward A. and Freda Anderson. She attended several schools during her childhood education, including Mudhen Lake, Falun, and Siren.
