Robert Carlson

Robert W. "Bob" Carlson passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2009 after a short illness at Burnett Medical Center. Bob was born on December 19, 1931 to Robert and Alice Carlson in Osceola, Wisconsin where he also grew up. After graduating from high school Bob joined the Navy and served for 5 years during the Korean war era. He met and married Virginia Hullen during this time. His working years consisted of operating cranes in heavy construction and owning/operating a dairy farm near Center City, Minnesota. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice. Bob is survived by his wife Virginia, sons Gregory and Eric, daughter Kristina, along with his 4 grandchildren and several cousins. A memorial service is being planned for a future date and announcments will be made with the assisstance of the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, WI.
