Thomas England

SIREN

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Raymond England, affectionately known as Tom, Dad, and Papa, who departed this life on April 20, 2025. He was born on July 17, 1942, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was raised in Siren, Wisconsin, where he graduated with the class of 1960.

Thomas was the son of Raymond "Moe" and Frances “Fanny” England, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his father-in-law Bede and mother-in-law Lois Boll. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Boll) England, with whom he joyfully shared a special bond. The couple was looking forward to celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary in September.

Together, they lovingly raised two children: Kari Worthington (Brad) and Justin England (Michelle). As a devoted grandfather, Thomas was known as Papa to three grandchildren—Jay and Jonathan Worthington, as well as Everly England—whose lives brought him immense joy and pride.

He was the eldest of four siblings and is survived by Diane Strand (Vernan), Jim England (Debbie), Steve England (Teresa), and Cindy England.

Additionally, he is survived by brothers-in-law Joseph (Linda) Boll, Arthur (Nancy) Boll, and sister-in-law Bonnie Klein (Tim), along with his Aunt Lida Nordquist, Uncle Roy Fahland, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A humble man, Tom never sought the spotlight but consistently served as a steady and dependable presence in the lives of those around him. His unwavering dedication as a family provider and his loyalty to his loved ones were hallmarks of his character.

Tom proudly served his country as an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. After retirement, he continued to service as an active and valued member of the Siren Lions Club.

An avid Wisconsin sports enthusiast, he could often be found cheering passionately for the Wisconsin Badgers and his beloved 13-time NFL Champion Green Bay Packers, seldom missing a game and always ready to voice his opinions on officiating.

Tom's lifelong love for the outdoors was evident through his passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He cherished countless hours with his favorite hunting buddy, his son Justin, along with brother Jim, whether in the woods or on the water.

Thomas Raymond England's legacy of love, dedication, and gentle spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Tom. Your enduring presence in our lives remains a cherished gift.
