Therese Frances Rudolph, age 52, peacefully passed away on May 12th, 2026.
She was born on August 27th, 1973, in New Hope, MN, where she was lovingly raised by her family: Mom and Dad, Darlene and Dave, and sisters Marie, Barbara, and Carol.
Despite a very challenging start to life, Therese achieved more than any doctors ever believed possible. Therese loved life: listening to all kinds of music; dancing; watching the old TV show Emergency!; going for walks; going to church; going on pretty much any outing; sitting outside and listening to birds; swimming; going for rides on a sled, snowmobile, boat, or in a car. She adored having everyone’s attention, especially when she opened presents! Christmas was her favorite season. Therese thoroughly enjoyed eating anything! And she absolutely loved getting and giving hugs. The list could go on and on. Therese was a brilliant ray of sunshine, so cheerful and full of life. And so full of love. She taught us to slow down and appreciate the small things. She brought so much joy to our lives and made us laugh. Therese, we will miss you so, so much. “You are one!!!”
Therese is survived by her parents, Dave and Darlene Rudolph; sisters Marie Ohnstad, Barbara (Quinn) Montgomery, and Carol Bratz; nieces and nephews David, Jacob, Joseph, Violet, Olivia, Jack, and Lily.
She is preceded in death by many loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midwest Special Service, 1045 Tomlyn Ave, Shoreview, MN 55126, or online at www.mssmn.org/ways-to-donate
