Theresa Eileen Leighow

Theresa Eileen Leighow (Bauermeister), 71, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away on March 21st, 2026. Born on December 6th, 1954, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Theresa was known for her loving heart, infectious laughter, and her remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went. She dedicated 23 years of service to Xcel Energy and was actively involved in her local senior center. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, bird watching, and being involved with her Red Hats. Among her proudest accomplishments was her family, whom she cherished deeply.

Theresa is survived by her husband Larry, and children, Angela and Anthony (Kelsey). She also leaves behind a large extended family, including several siblings, nieces, and nephews, along with many cherished memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Helen; her sisters, Mary and Kathleen; and her brothers, David, Richard, and Daniel.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 11th, 2026, at Siren Covenant Church, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. 

A luncheon will be held following the service. 

Theresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
