Scott Christenson

Scott J. Christenson, age 80, a resident of Shell Lake died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Indianhead Medical Center. Scott was born on May 3, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Scott E. and Florence Christenson. Scott married Janet on August 24, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota where they lived on the East side until 1990 when they retired. They then moved to the Webster area to their vacation home making it their residence. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Janet in 2000, brothers-in-law James Newman and John Newman. Scott is survived by his children Scott E. Christenson of Oakdale, MN; John C. Christenson of Forest Lake, MN; Joanne Sinn of Shell Lake; Marlene Fields of Shell Lake; sisters-in-law Ann Schwartz and Sue (John) Tenney; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Michael Tupa as celebrant. Music will be provided by Kim Simon. Interment following at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Webster.
