Ronald Louis LaForge

Ronald Louis LaForge, 69, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2026.

Ron was born on November 20, 1956, in Garden City, Michigan, to Lillian and Roy LaForge. Ron graduated from Grantsburg High School, then received a tech degree in machining at Pine Tech, and went on to work as a machinist for 20 years at Parker. Then he transitioned to car sales for 32 years.

He will be remembered for his kindness, honesty, and humor. He loved spending his extra time fishing, hunting and being with his wife and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Lillian and Roy LaForge; sister, Sharon Chilson; son, Andy LaForge; granddaughter, Lillian LaForge; and brother-in-law, Dick Queener.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Edith LaForge; sisters, Carol Queener and Kathy (Jerry) Hansen; his stepchildren, Theresa (Mark) Jones, Tracy Briggs, Trista (Dan) Edaburn, and Toni Topp, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ron was truly loved and will definitely be missed by all.

Family has invited friends and family to Ron's Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 1:00-4:00 pm at Brickfield Brewery in Grantsburg, WI.
