Rollin “Rollie” Arthur Asper, age 72, of Luck, WI, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 with his family by his side. Rollin was born on April 13, 1944 in Frederic, WI to parents, Elma (Nelson) and Arthur Asper. He attended and graduated from Luck High School in 1963. On July 20, 1974, Rollin was united in marriage to Nora Jean Larson at the St. Peters Lutheran Church in Luck, WI. Preceding Rollin in death are his parents; sister, Donnis Glanz; and son, Kent Asper. Rollin is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nora Jean Asper; daughters, Jacki (Daniel), Jari (Loren) and Gail; son, Gary (Lisa); brother, Steve (Donna) Asper; sister, Carol (Dick) Coen; grandchildren: Tracy (Erin), Krista (Dillon), Cameron (Jamie), Amanda, Brittany (Jake), Emily, Brandon, Justin, Dani, Ali, and Jordan; and 18 great-grandchildren who he absolutely adored; nieces, nephews and many many friends and loved ones. Rollin enjoyed hunting, fishing, quilting, spending endless hours with his grandkids and great-grandkids, spending the summer in his garden, making homemade jam and cooking. Many people were on the receiving end of his generosity. Rollin was the glue that held the family together. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cushing Community Center on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00pm with Pastor Bruce Tanner officiating.
