Robert Cairns

Robert "Bob" Allen Cairns, age 85, a resident of Frederic, WI passed away on August 13, 2024 with his loved ones by his side. Bob was born on August 10, 1939 in Spooner, WI to parents Floyd and Nellie (Thompson) Cairns. He attended Siren High School.

Bob married Melba Denotter on June 9, 2016 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa.

Bob worked at North States for 23 years and the at the sawmill in Siren until 2017.

In Bob’s free time he enjoyed fishing, traveling, antique car shows, but most of all he loved spending his time with his family. He also loved his food. Bob was an avid Packers fan and like to watch wrestling.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darlene Butler, brothers, Bill Cairns and Jack Knutson; 2 infant siblings and grandson, Michael Williamson.

Bob will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Melba; children, Christy Cairns, Michele (Darryl Suskin) Denotter and Andrea (Jesse) Lieder; grandchildren, Devan Pavlicek, Justice (Rylie) Lieder, Destiny Lieder, Miley Lieder, Anna Lieder, Jeffrey Lieder; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Sandy Tisdale and Jean Marie Johnson; several nieces and nephews; along with many friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM (visitation from 10-11 AM) at the Lakeview Methodist Church in Shell Lake, WI with Pastor Ferdinand Serra. Burial will follow at the Siren Lakeview Cemetery in Siren, WI with pallbearers Dave Miller, Mark Knoop, Tom Ennis, Jesse Lieder, Darryl Suskin and Derk Benzer.
