Rebecca Lea Buchholz, age 63, of Grantsburg, Wi, passed away August 31st, 2026, surrounded by family and friends at home.

Becky was born December 24, 1962, to Harold and Barbara (Bannister) Wagenius in Siren, Wi. She attended Grantsburg Schools and graduated May 1981. Becky attended Cosmetology school in Rice Lake, Wi, and worked in that business for many years. Becky began her cooking career at Good Samaritan's Nursing Home in St Croix Falls, Wi then went to Burnett Medical Center in Grantsburg, later cooking for Dreamer's Bar and Grill. While being a cook at BMC, she was able to attend cooking classes which further inspired some of her food creations. Becky had to retire for health reasons but still enjoyed cooking at home and finding new recipes to try out. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and could put on quite the feast.

Becky enjoyed having her family close by. Becky's children and grandchildren were everything to her, she has a few adopted kids and grandkids too! She was Mom and Grammy to those who needed a little extra love.

Becky married Tim Buchholz at their home on June 16th, 2022, by Pastor Jay Ticknor.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Harold Wagenius and Barb Edin, husbands Sam Johnson and Scott Crocker, brother Duane "Dewey" Selander, and other cousins and loved ones. She is survived by husband, Tim Buchholz, sons Samuel Johnson and Zachary Crocker, daughter, Casey Crocker. Grandchildren, Dakotah, Kale, Aaliyah, Nora, Ayla, and Ashlyn, all of Grantsburg, Wi, stepbrother Scott Edin of Tennessee, Aunt Carol Jeffries of Washington and Tami Gwynne, many cousins and friends. She will be truly missed.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hummer's Event Center 115 W. Madison Ave Grantsburg, Wi 54840 on September 12th, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
