Early in the morning of September 9th, 2026, Norma Jean Johnson (Lundeen), age 93, passed into the hands of our Lord.

Norma Jean graduated from Centuria Wisconsin High School class of 1952 with a high proficiency in shorthand writing. Her first jobs were with Anchor Insurance and Brown and Bigelow. Where she often took dictation in shorthand from company officials. And typed company correspondence.

In 1957 she married Richard. Then she was a loving mother and homemaker to three boys and a husband. During this time, she took a teacher assistants position. She also signed up for watercolor painting classes. Once the children grew up, Norma enrolled at the North Hennepin Community College. She earned an AA Degree. While in college, during lectures. She used her shorthand skill to record the entire lecture. For tests she could study all lecture material. She earned many A+ grades. Norma Jean also wrote some articles for the school newspaper. Later in college, she was recruited as an English tutor. She then tutored English to many foreign students passing through college at that time.

She is survived in death by her husband Richard A Lundeen. Her sons Brian J Lundeen {Sharon) and Bradley A Lundeen. Also by her granddaughter Jessica Lundeen. And grandsons Joseph and Joshua Lundeen.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard F Johnson; Mother Esther E Johnson (Magnison); sister, Dorain Johnson and eldest son Jeffrey R Lundeen.

Visitation will be on October 1, 2026, at Swedberg Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, WI, from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
