Lonnie George Millin, age 89, of Mission, Texas died June 19, 2023.
Lonnie was born in Mt. Hope, Wisconsin on November 20, 1933, to Russell and Thelma Millin. He graduated from Boscobel High School in 1951.
Lonnie met Adeline Pulda and they were married on September 18, 1954. They lived in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin until 1973 when they moved to Hudson, Wisconsin, and in 1994 they retired at their lake home in Danbury, Wisconsin. They were blessed with four children.
In 1991 Lonnie retired from a lifelong career as a truck driver.
Lonnie was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. He spent many volunteer hours as the trail boss for the Wonderland Sno Trails snowmobile club. Lonnie will be fondly remembered for his smile, stories and joke telling.
Lonnie is survived by his four children, Lonnie (Dee Dee) Millin, Jerry (Cindy) Millin, Lori (Kenny) O’Shea, Jeff (Kelly) Millin; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for Lonnie on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Willow River Saloon, 1106 Country Road A, Hudson, Wisconsin 54016.
