Laura R Alberg

Laura “Laurie” Alberg, 62, passed away peacefully early this morning on December 28, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1963.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Ed Alberg; her siblings Mary Alberg and Steve Alberg (Dianne); and her nephew Patrick Alberg.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Alberg; her daughter, Amanda; her beloved grandson, Jayden; Jayden’s grandfather Terry; and her siblings Chris, Joe, Cindy, John, and Patty.

Laura was a wild and free spirit who walked to the beat of her own drum. Often considered the black sheep of the family, she embraced life on her own terms and followed her own path with courage and independence. She found deep peace in nature and was especially drawn to wolves—creatures she admired for their strength, loyalty, and freedom. Like the wolves she loved, Laura lived authentically and untamed.

She will be remembered for her unique spirit, her love of the natural world, and the fierce love she held for her daughter and grandson. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
