Obituary

Kathleen Good, age 66, of Grantsburg, passed away on June 28, 2026.

Kathe was born on September 6, 1959, in Elgin, Illinois, to Ronald and Carol (Dittmer) Good. In 1968, she moved with her family to Hertel, Wisconsin, where she grew up and graduated from Siren High School in 1977.

She attended cosmetology school before working at St. Croix Hospital. She later opened her own dance school and eventually found her true passion in the food industry. After years of experience, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening Good Stuff Catering, where she shared her love of cooking and bringing people together.

Kathe will be remembered for her kindness, her willingness to speak her mind, her wonderful sense of humor, and her stubborn determination. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and touched countless lives through her generosity and caring heart.

Despite many health challenges, Kathe never lost hope. Her final Facebook post read, “Faith over fear,” a simple message that reflected the courage and faith with which she lived.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ron and Carol Good.

She is survived by her brothers, Dan (Chris) and Shawn (Tammy); her nieces and nephews, Jason (Leah), Chelsey (KP), Chaz (Axl), Kendra (Mark), Jake (McKenna), Carly (Jeremy), and Abby (Landon); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cruz, Derrick, Emma, July, Kastin, Harper, Raya, Rockton, Grayson, and Natalie; and many close friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, Wisconsin. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered love, support, and compassionate care throughout Kathe’s journey.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at swedberg-taylor.com.
