On Tuesday, February 10th, our family lost someone truly irreplaceable. Kathleen passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind the love of her life, her husband Clint; her son Hunter and his wife Maddie; her stepson Justin and his wife Kelsey and their four children; in addition to her family, her dear friends, and a community that will forever carry her in their hearts.
Kathleen was the kind of person who made the world feel softer and kinder just by being in it. In her small town of Danbury, she was known by many as “Mother Nature,” a nickname that perfectly captured her spirit. She had a deep, genuine love for living things and showed compassion in ways both big and small, every single day. If something needed care, comfort, or nurturing, Kathleen was there.
Her life was built around creating and giving. Whether she was making art, baking something special, or sharing something she made with others, she poured love into everything her hands touched.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating the beautiful life of Kathleen, lovingly known as “Mother Nature.” Please gather with us in remembrance, laughter, and love on June 6th from 2:00–5:00 PM at Salty Steer.
This will be a casual, outdoor gathering (weather permitting) as we honor Kathleen’s free spirit and the joy she brought to so many.
We encourage you to bring your favorite memories, stories, and smiles as we celebrate a life so deeply loved and forever remembered.
Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at swedberg-taylor.com.
