JoAnn Rae Berg, age 73, a resident of Danbury, WI passed away on November 21, 2022 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
JoAnn was born on July 15, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN.
JoAnn worked for the St. Croix Tribal Center as an Indian Child Welfare Coordinator for over 12 years.
JoAnn married James Berg on June 4, 1993 in South Dakota.
In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, sewing, knitting, making quilts and taking occasional trips to Vegas.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents; mother and father in-law; and a nephew.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim; children, Lynette Schultz, Michelle Pinc and Travis (Sarah) Klaas; grandchildren, Stephen, Robert, Matthew, Claire, Sophie, Aaron and Ethan; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth “Frank” (Gloria) Gatten, Kenneth (Renee) L’esperance, and Darrell (Cindy) Connors; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Dave) Foster; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
