Jill (Jilly) Meyer, of Falun, Wisconsin, left this world on April 14, 2026. She came into this world quietly and left the same way, surrounded by friends and family.
Jill was born to Robert and Jessie Anderson. She was the fifth sibling in the growing Anderson family of seven children.
She was a graduate of Grantsburg High School and remained a loud and proud supporter of all things sports, especially the football teams. Many will remember her as the official “Lunch Lady”, a title she holds even now.
She was at her best making new friends and loving life with her family, especially her grandchildren, Thomas and Hadley.
Physical disabilities didn’t stop her from keeping her bird feeders full, hoping for sight of an elusive red cardinal. She conquered every jigsaw puzzle that came her way. Jill will always be remembered as the lady with the red lipstick handing out big hugs and bigger kisses.
Jill will be missed by her husband Curtis, daughter Kelsey (Spencer), grandchildren Thomas and Hadley, and siblings Terrie, Robert, Martin, Carmen, Peter and Mary, and in-laws Delores, John, Gilbert, and Greg. Jill also enjoyed her many nieces and nephews. She would also add favorite doctors, nurses, and dentists, for whom she kept cell phone numbers handy.
A celebration of Jill’s life will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Falun, WI on Saturday, May 2, 2026, visitation at 10:00, service at 11:00am. Lunch to follow.
