Jeanne Marie Meyer

Jeanne Marie Meyer, a resident of Grantsburg, WI, passed away at her home on Friday, May 8, 2026.

Jeanne was born Jeanne Marie Johnson on March 4, 1954, to Joseph and Blanche Johnson. She graduated from Grantsburg High School and later married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” John Meyer, on March 23, 1974, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grantsburg. Together, they built a life rooted in love, dedication, and family, raising their two daughters, Bobbi Jean and Lynsey Louise.

Jeanne worked in several roles throughout her life before spending many years as a Benefits Administrator for the St. Croix Tribe prior to her retirement.

Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and spending time with those she loved most. She had a warm heart and quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her. Jeanne will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the comfort she brought to those around her.

Jeanne is now at peace, free from pain, and reunited with her beloved husband, Bob.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Bob” Meyer; mother-in-law, Dorothy Meyer; father-in-law, Willard Meyer; brothers-in-law Wayne Ulick, Duane Meyer, Gary Meyer, and Allen Benson; sisters-in-law Donna Meyer and Collette Meyer; niece Jennifer Meyer; and nephews Steve and Chris Coy.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Bobbi Melvin and Lynsey (Mike) Peterson; her treasured grandchildren, Cole, Bailey, Jack, Caleb, Carson, Ellie, and Lily; her sister, Kay Ulick; her brother, Donovan (Viva) Johnson; brothers-in-law Rodney (Patty) Meyer, Harlan (Patty) Meyer, James (Ginni) Meyer, David Meyer, and Mike (Sheila) Meyer; sisters-in-law Barb Benson and Beth Meyer; as well as many extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on May 22, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church in Grantsburg, WI, with John Addison officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, with the service at 2:00 PM. A gathering will follow at Hummer’s Event Center.
