Jeanne Juleen

Jeanne Juleen passed away at Grantsburg Continuing Care Center on January 10, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born February 26, 1954, in Minneapolis to John and Jere Workman. She moved to Grantsburg in 1971. Catherine was born in 1975. In 1983 Jeanne married Charles Juleen and gained 2 bonus daughters. In 1985 Carl David was born and in 1987 Kevin Charles completed the family.

Jeanne's working life consisted of taking care of people. She was an amazing cook and loved having her in-home day-care center.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles, her parents John and Jere, her sister-in-law Jan and son-in-law Ron.

She is survived by daughters Laurie Smith, Lynett (Ken) Yoerg, Cate (Jeff) Howe and sons Carl (Sam) Juleen and Kevin Juleen. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren; Matthew (Rheanna) Johnson, Christopher (Kiersten) Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Abigail and Levi Hayman and Justin, Ellie and Lane Juleen as well as 2 grandcats Bandit and Cirby. Jeanne also leaves behind great grandchildren Zachary, Adalynn and Natalie Johnson as well as Carson and Liam Johnson. She is also survived by brother Mike Workman and Sue (Bill) Folk, brother and sister-in-laws Terry and Joan Juleen and John and Joan Romans.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Jeanne will be buried alongside Charles at Anscarius cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor funeral Home.

Jeanne's family would like to thank the staff (her extended family) at CCC for all of the care and love that they gave to Jeanne.
