Janice Marie Cox, age 75, a resident of Grantsburg, WI passed away on October 27, 2022 peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side.
Jan was born on February 2, 1947 in Ironwood, Michigan to parents James and Helen (Jussila) Rigoni.
After graduating Jan worked as a waitress at the Townhouse restaurant while raising her family. Eventually, Jan changed careers and worked as a banker for Wells Fargo for over 10 years.
Jan loved to spend time with family and friends. She touched the hearts of many and will be missed dearly. She was a diehard Packer fan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Jeffrey; and brother, James.
Jan is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Kim) Korhonen, Gina (Robert) Margetta, Karin (Shawn) Korhonen and Cheri (Regan) Hill; brother, Robert (Paula) Rigoni; sister, Debra (Kevin) Maki; grandchildren, Kenley and Khloe Korhonen, Janelle (Josh) Bestul, Korey Margetta, Lexi Korhonen, Shaye (Eric) Thaldorf, Jami Hill and Jackson Hill; great granddaughter, Ivory Thaldorf; along with other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Rigoni's Inn (925 E. Ayer St. Ironwood, MI.) on November 19, 2022 at 4:00 PM.
