Harvey James Thompson, born on September 28, 1936, in Stanley, WI, passed away on October 28, 2025, in Amery, WI.


Harvey was known for his sense of humor, hard work, and generous spirit. He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage. His children are Randy (Gail), Deb, Tim (Annette), and Troy (Rose), six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.


Proudly serving in the Navy from 1954 to 1958, Harvey later became a Certified Welder and Maintenance Manager at PAR Systems, where he worked for 25 years. He loved deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, and, more recently, riding his 3-wheel electric bike with friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Tilmer, mother Magdalena, brother, Roger, and sister Shirley. 


Donations can be made in his honor to the Dementia Society of America.


 A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 29th, from 1-3 pm at The Lodge located at 24271 State Rd. 35 N, Siren, WI 54872.
