Gail Ann Mahr passed away peacefully on June 26th, surrounded by the boundless love of her friends and family.

 Preceded in death by her parents, Doralyn Howerton and Pierre "Papa Pete" Mahr. 

She is survived by her partner, Derek Greenfield; beloved little dog Yoda; daughter Hannah Graczyk; bonus family Gretchen Fisher and David Raveling; grandchildren Madison and Nolan Fisher, Little Jeffy; and her prized 1991 Mazda Miata convertible. 

Even throughout her roller coaster battle with ovarian cancer, she maintained her wicked sense of humor until the very end. Born in Denver in 1948, she moved to Minnesota in the 70s and finally to Frederic, Wisconsin in 2020. Gail was at heart an artist, and a truly unique soul in the world. Her presence and vibrancy will be missed immensely. Gail hated funerals and did not want a traditional service.
