Donald Everette Reese

Donald Everette Reese, age 81, was born to Edna and Frank Reese on September 7, 1944, in Webster, Wisconsin.

Don, as he was known by family and friends, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Don worked most of his life as a carpenter. He enjoyed his retirement years in the log home he built in the beautiful countryside of Webster, Wisconsin. He loved nature and had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Even towards the end, he was baking cookies and homemade bread.

Don is survived by his daughter Donna LaCombe (Joel), granddaughter Kaitlyn Ostrander (Ben), great-grandchildren Aurora, Emerie, and Everett, brother Fred Reese, sisters Janet Koch and Wanda Fiddle, many nieces, nephews, countless friends, and dearest friends Jan Swim, Ruthann Liljenberg, and Valerie Christianson, and his cat Tommy. He will be sadly missed.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edna Reese, brothers Bob, Frankie, and Larry.

A graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, Wisconsin, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Officiant William Friedrichs.
