Clifford Reed

Clifford O. Reed, age 77, a resident of Webster died December 13, 2016. Clifford was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 21, 1939, the son of John O. and Esther (Wegner) Reed. Clifford served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1963. On June 6, 1964, he married his true love, Lynne Phernetton. Clifford worked in law enforcement for over 30 years, working for the City of St. Paul and the City of Renville, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Skradde and his parents. Survived by wife of 52 years, Lynne; daughter Paulene (Dale) Engebretson; son Brian Reed; son-in-law Robert Skradde; sister Barb (Gary) Anderson, and brother-in-law Ron Phernetton. He was also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster with Pastor Andy Bollant officiating. Military honors will be rendered after the service and Clifford will be buried at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
