Clarence Kedrowski

Clarence Kedrowski, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at Traditions of Frederic. He was born on February 13, 1943, in Little Falls, Minnesota, to Richard and Agnes (Trettel) Kedrowski. Clarence lived a life marked by creativity, faith, and a deep appreciation for craftmanship and tradition.

Clarence graduated from Cloquet High School and went on to work at Conwed in Cloquet, Minnesota, for 6 years. He later pursued a career in construction, where he specialized in home additions and new buildings. His hands-on work reflected his dedication to building not just structures but also a meaningful life rooted in hard work and integrity.

A man of many passions, Clarence had a lifelong love for antique cars. He especially cherished his 1950 Ford, which he proudly purchased at a local car show in Osceola. He was a regular at both car and gun shows, where he enjoyed sharing stories and admiring the craftsmanship of antique pistols, rifles, and handguns. Clarence was also an artist with a special talent for painting wildlife and landscapes. Among his most treasured works was a drawing of Jesus carrying the cross-a piece he lovingly reproduced and shared with countless people over the years as an expression of his deep faith. His artistic spirit extended to woodworking as well; he found joy in whittling and creating handmade wooden items that reflected his patience and skill. He also loved to go fishing with family and friends.

His faith was central to his life. Clarence loved talking about the good word and sharing his beliefs with others. He carried unwavering confidence in his spiritual journey and often spoke of looking forward to the day he would be called home by his heavenly Father.

Clarence is survived by his sister Darlene; daughters Theresa Smith (Brian Phillips) and Tammy Montpetit (Tom); son Adam Kedrowski; stepdaughters Jan Sanford (David) and Jackie Sanford (Rick Penberthy); Grandchildren Samantha Snyder, Patrick Smith, Cassandra Burns, Kayla Montpetit, Andrew Montpetit, Shawn Leggitt, David Leggitt, Mikel Sanford, Mark Sanford and Ashly Sanford; as well as 23 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Burton and Richard Kedrowski; stepfather Joe Burton; brother Albert; sister Mary Lou; and several aunts and uncles. Clarence's free-spirited nature touched many lives. Whether through his art, his stories at car shows or gun shows, or simply through quiet moments of faith shared with others, he left behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him, and may he rest peacefully in the embrace of the Lord he so faithfully served.

A celebration of Clarence's life will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Faith Fellowship Church in Luck, WI, with a visitation beginning and hour prior.
