Bruce Aitken

September 30, 1971 — February 5, 2024

A wonderful man taken;
Bruce John Aitken, age 52, passed to the next world sudden and unexpectedly at his home the night of February 4th.

To the many friends he had as: an accomplished musician, carpenter/roofer, USAF F-16 Crew Chief, machinist/fabricator, avid hunter, Fellow Dad, Kyuk-i-Do Black Belt, loading innovator, Firearm manufacturing artist, 1000-yard shot club member, AND Warrior Poet; his family is grateful to you all for the memories.

Bruce was a hard-working and humble man in every sense. He was a devoted son, caring brother, faithful and true husband, dedicated and fun-loving father, loyal, funny, kind, patriotic and courageous; cousin/ uncle/mentor/friend/business partner.

To his wife, her true love, partner and companion. To his son, father, friend and fellow gym rat. To his daughter, unconditional love and a fortress “Daddy is family and family is everything.”

Bruce is survived by Mother: Jill, Father: Bill Sr., Brother: Bill Jr., Step Mother: Alana, Wife: Janine, Son: Cavin, Daughter: Dana and many other mentees, nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.

“We have many in our ranks who come from a broad base of ideologies. Still, we are united in our aim to be a living sacrifice for a cause greater than ourselves. This is our calling and our burden, to live free and die well.” John Lovell (Warrior Poet Society)

Bruce will live on in our hearts but more than that; Bruce will continue to better the world through us that knew him for knowing him made us better people.

Celebration of Life will be held on May 4th from 11AM to 2PM at 3003 Hazelwood Street, Maplewood, MN (Bruce’s text and face-book will be maintained for inquiries)
