Alice Ferol Kabeary

Alice Ferol Riley Kabeary, age 101, of Grantsburg, died April 17, 2026, at her home with her family surrounding her.

Alice was born January 10, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Amanda Karina Aronson and John Walter Riley. Alice is a 1943 graduate of Grantsburg High School, a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grantsburg. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, drawing and painting scenery of cabins and woods. Alice worked in Grantsburg Clinic for Dr. Hartzell for many years.

Alice is survived by her children; Jean Psyhos of Grantsburg, David (Jane) Psyhos of Edina, MN., Kitty Carlos, Connie (Jim) Brower, Dan (Tina) Kabeary; grandchildren; Nicholas (Maggie) Psyhos, Andrew (Lexie) Psyhos, Chris (Katie) Psyhos, Peter (Stephanie) Psyhos and Anthony (Lindsey) Psyhos. She is also survived by other grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Kabeary; stepson, Fred Kabeary.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5th, from 11 am to 12 noon at Faith Lutheran Church in Grantsburg, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12 Noon. Alice will be laid to rest in Anscarius Cemetery in Alpha.
